It is a matter of pride, gratitude, and celebration of success for the organization on achievement of 39 Million Man Hours (MM Hrs) without Lost Time Case (LTC) in June 2012 based on OSHA reporting requirements, 10.25 Million Man Hours (MM Hrs) were contributed by Employees and 28.75 Million Man Hours (MM Hrs) by Supervised & Other Contractors. This achievement has taken more than 12 years and is significant for a plant handling highly hazardous chemicals and largely dependent on outside contractors.

The success of our system and its implementation is reflected in terms of commitment of Lotte Chemical Pakistan team along with the support of workers at operating level towards safe system of work performance. The strong focus of Management on Health, Safety and Environment defines our standards and success criteria for the future.  The line management and their team’s efforts are highly commendable for continuous up keeping of safe work practices in this regards.

Lotte Chemical Pakistan has maintained an aggressive audit regime through daily, weekly and monthly audit cycles. Training and re-training, effective communication of HSE learning events (near misses), daily tool box talks is a corner stone helping the Business improve behavior based safety and system compliance.

Health of employees is of prime importance to the company. Health and Hygiene monitoring plans are prepared at the beginning of the year and 100% compliance for medical examinations is being achieved. Field monitoring is given continuous focus to ensure that the work place does not contribute to Occupational illness employees.
